Ranking methodology
madeinfoshan is built as a database first. Rankings are generated from structured supplier records, shipment rows, category links, and quality thresholds rather than promotional claims.
Category pages rank suppliers by tracked shipment count over the trailing 12-month sample, then by shipment weight and quality score. Supplier pages show the fields available in the SQLite database, including district, categories, HS codes, destinations, sources, and last update date.
A supplier page is published only when the record passes the site quality filter: quality score of at least 0.6 and either 3 or more shipment rows or a verified flag. This keeps thin or weak records out of the public index.
Sponsored suppliers may appear only in a clearly labeled sponsored area. They are never mixed into the natural ranking table and do not change the order of organic supplier rows.
